On May 28th, Halfway responded out on three working incidents. Crews responded on a working barn fire with FairplayCompany 12, then responded with HFD Engine 5 for a reported explosion in our first due, then responded with Funkstown Company 10 for a vehicle accident with fire.

While working a fuel spill, crews on Engine 261 stop to assist on a 2nd incident after MSP Trooper assisting them is struck by a tractor-trailer on Interstate 70. Crews end up assisting on a three vehicle collision with one being transported to Meritus Medical Center.

Halfway was alerted for the call along with Hagerstown Fire Department, Funkstown Fire Company, and Community Rescue Service at 23:39 hours. Firefighters arrived and quickly stabalized the vehicle and were able to extricate the occupant.
