On the afternoon of October 1st, Halfway Engine 261 and Tower 26 were set up on the Bower Avenue Bridge over top of Interstate 70 to show support for Firefighter Kelly Frye of Cumberland Fire Department in Cumberland, MD. Engine 261 and Tower 26 along with Chief and Deputy Chief units were out there to pay their respects to Firefighter Frye.

On the evening of September 25th, Halfway responded for a personal injury collision on Virginia Avenue in the area of Van Lear Drive. Crews arrived to find one vehicle into the fence that runs along Virginia Avenue. No serious injuries were reported.

Halfway was alerted and responded for an odor at Williamsport High School. Crews checked the building and no hazards were found. Building was deemed safe for students to return to class.
