On the afternoon of March 31st just after 1:00 PM, Halfway was alerted for a Mobile Home fire in Lakeside Mobile Home Community. After conducting the 360 assessments, crews found a shed on fire with heavy extension into the residence.

Spring Mills senior works to serve community as station’s youngest EMT. Zach Miller, a senior at Spring Mills High School, recently won a Rookie of the Year award for his work as an EMT at the Volunteer Fire Company of Halfway in Hagerstown, Maryland.

On the early evening of March 28th, Halfway responded for an outside fire in the area of Scarlet oak Drive in Halfway Manager. Upon arrival crews found a 6x6 area burning directly behind the Apple Blossom Court residences.
