Crews from Halfway participated in several 9/11 Memorial Events during the week of September 11th. From the Memorial Ceremony at Hagerstown Regional Airport, to a Memorial Ceremony put together by Mission BBQ, to Boonsboro Fire Departments Annual 9/11 Parade. The flag flew high from Tower 26 at all three events!

The Volunteer Fire Company of Halfway is holding multiple fundraising events this year to help with depleted funding every department is dealing with. We held a successful Bonanza in May, followed by a Chicken BBQ in July, now our Bingo Bonanza this past August 1st. Looking forward to for events to come!

Halfway crews were out flippin Chicken on Sunday the 25th with help from Cluck'in Around BBQ out of Smithsburg. We were set up to sell 175 meals and sold out by 1:30pm. Thanks Cluck'in Around for your help!
