On Saturday February 19th, Volunteers in Halfway came out to checkout the new Battery Operated Extrication Tools on how well they work. Big thank you to Ronnie Carr of MES for bringing out the Battery Powered Hurst Tooks for us to try out.

On February 15th, Halfway assisted Clear Spring Fire Company celebrate the life of Life Member, past Chaplain and longtime Company #4 Fire policeman Teddy Hovermale. Glad we could be of assistance!

On the afternoon of February 15th, Halfway was alerted for a vehicle in the parking lot of Western Sizzlin Steak House on York Road. Engine 261 and the Deputy Chief responded with a crew of 3 & 4. The crew arrived to find smoke and flames showing.
