Halfway Responds To Vehicle Fire At Western Sizzlin

On the afternoon of February 15th, Halfway was alerted for a vehicle in the parking lot of Western Sizzlin Steak House on York Road. Engine 261 and the Deputy Chief responded with a crew of 3 & 4. The crew arrived to find smoke and flames showing. Deputy Chief Drawbaugh reported a single passenger vehicle with a working engine compartment fire. Firefighters were able to stretch a hose line and get the fire knocked within minutes of their arrival on the scene. No injuries were reported during the incident.
