On January 16th, Halfway volunteers conducted some EMS Training going over the operation of EMS Equipment used on a daily basis to remove patients from their residence. Good basic training for refamiliarization of the equipment and good orientation for the newer members.

On the evening of January 7th, Halfway was alerted for a vehicle collision on Hopewell Road in the area of 11316 Hopewell Sheet Metal south of Hunters Green Parkway. Washington County ECC had several reports of a head-on. Crews arrived to find two vehicles involved with all occupants out of the vehicle.

On the evening of January 5th, crews from the Volunteer Fire Company of Halfway were alerted at 18:01 hours for a personal injury accident on Hopewell Road in the area a Wantz Distributors. Halfway Engine 261 arrived to find a single pick-up truck off the road into the guardrail.
