Halfway responded out for an outside fire along Downsville Pike south of West Oak ridge Drive. Crews arrived to find a 20 x 100 foot area burning. Crews were able to pull a hose line along with a water can and got a quick knock on the fire.
On the afternoon of March 1st, the Washington County area was plagued with multiple outside fires due to dry and windy conditions. Halfway responded with assistance from HFD for an outside fire threatening a structure.
