Halfway Responds On Safety Assignment On HFD BOX 3514

On the night of April 22nd, Halfway was alerted and responded to assist on a working house fire in the City of Hagerstown. HFD responded on the call that evening around 23:20 for a reported House Fire in the 700 block of Chestnut Street in the Southend of Hagerstown. Fire arriving units arrived to find heavy fire showing from the second floor of the structure. Halfway was alerted on the Safety Assignment at 23:23 hours and responded with Engine 26-2 with a crew of 4 personnel. Halfway assisted with R.I.T. operations and Overhaul operations and were committed on the scene for a little over an hour.
