Manasquan, NJ, Ambulance 26-9 is a 1995 Ford
E350 Custom Medallion Ambulance. This unit
was placed into service on September 19,
1995 and served as our department’s first
EMS transport Ambulance. Ambulance 26-9 is
equipped with a full range of both basic
life support and advanced life support
equipment meeting or exceeding
requirements
for Washington County and the State of
Maryland. Ambulance 26-9 has successfully
completed the MIEMSS "Seal of Excellence"
voluntary ambulance inspection program. The
Volunteer Fire Company of Halfway's
Ambulance service is the only fire
department operated ambulance service in
Washington County. Ambulance 26-9 responded
to nearly 1,000 emergency calls for
assistance in its first year of service.
