Halfway Fire responded out for a reported Train Car Fire on Hopewell Road.  Crews arrived to find Heavy Black Smoke coming from the car.  Crews were able to quickly control the blaze.  Crews work for three more hours after contained to shift through the smoldering contents of the train car involved.  Halfway EMS and Rehab crews from 255 worked together to check out firefighters and closely monitored them due to the extreme heat that day.  No hazmat chemicals were involved in the blaze and no injuries were reported.   Photos courtesy of William King, Justin Gearhart & Allan Robison of the WCVFRAPT
