Halfway Fire responded out for a Automatic Fire Alarm at Homewood Retirement Center.  As crews arrived, a follow-up call reported smoke in the building.  Once crews made entry, they confirmed they had a fire on the third flood.  Assistant Chief 26 assumed Command and requested the completion of the Box.  Firefighters were able to make a quick knock down bring the fire under control within minutes.    Photos courtesy of Janet Grimm of the WCVFRAPT
